Servant

We are all servants to something. To not serve is to be inert. Perhaps not inert in the sense of being motionless, but inert in that whatever motion is undertaken does not have an external purpose.

The majority of my service is carried out under the auspices of the church; whether I'm participating in the "corporate" service that involves the body of the church as a whole, or working as a subset of that body toward a particular community goal, it's all good.

My service to the people of Haiti has a cherished place in my heart. I've been going there since 2010 and the fact that I've not been able to travel in-country since 2018 is a great disappointment.

If this is of interest to you, please check out the various articles from past trips published in this section. Who knows, you might find something that spurs your own servant's heart in a new direction.

In Christ,

MD
